Tracy Austin, Alabama

Bio: Hello! *waving so excitedly my fingers are a blur* My name is Tracy Austin and this is me in a nutshell...An Air Force wife, an elementary teacher by trade and currently a stay at home mother to our two beautiful girls, a passionate photographer and scrapbooker, and giddy as a school girl to be a part of the Lifetime Moments team and community and to have found myself an online home here with all of you!

Susan Berg, California

Bio: Currently I hold the titles of Financial Analyst, Wife, Mother, Friend, and Scrapbooker. I have been published a few times, though my goal is to make my children, and hopefully someday my grandchildren, smile while looking at my pages and remembering special times.

My inspiration for scrapbooking comes from my love of creating, photography, and my family; mainly my two sons. We live and love in Northern California. This affords us many opportunities for special moments as well as everyday joy. Though I tend to scrapbook at home, I enjoy the camaraderie of a crop and the opportunity to steal abandoned photos of friends’ daughters to get my scrapping girl fix. I think that the friendships formed through this hobby are a beautiful benefit of artistically and enjoyably preserving my family’s memories!

Wendy Chang, California

Bio: Hi!  My name is Wendy Chang. I am an obsessed scrapbooker and stamper, with mixed media and altered arts coming in close behind.  I am a working mother of 2 and married to my high school sweetheart.  I am thrilled to be a part of this team, and I look forward to getting to know all of you better.

Madeline Fox, Louisiana

Bio: A stay-at-home-mom of five, I've been married for 26 years to my best friend. We have two girls and three boys, ranging in age from 23 to 3. Yes, 3! We live in River Ridge, Louisiana, a suburban area just outside of New Orleans. Swimming and cycling are my favorite sports, but I also love to play spectator at my sons' soccer games. My scrapping obsession began when my sister bought an idea book, cardstock and glue, and then scrapped a page or two with her daughter. Thinking this looked like fun, I did the same--idea book, cardstock, glue AND a few patterned papers! Two years and MANY supplies later, I've become quite passionate about this constantly evolving art form. Having always endeavored in arts and crafts such as sewing, quilting, cross-stitching, hardanger embroidery, drawing and painting, scrapbooking seemed a natural evolution. I find it appeals to both my artistic side and my sentimental, preserve-the-past, celebrate-the-present side as well. I've recently had my first pages published in Creating Keepsakes and Memory Makers magazines and have more going to print in the next few months. There is so much pleasure in finding new ways to arrange and embellish my pages, but I'm constantly challenging myself to present more meaningful journaling so that future generations will have an even better picture of my life and our times!

Miranda Isenberg, Michigan

Bio: As a single working mother with three active boys life keeps me pretty busy! Scrapbooking is my creative outlet after a long day at work and taking care of the kids, pets, house, etc. After more than a decade of scrapping I’ve found my style is consistently colorful, clean and simple. Alphabet stickers (and more specifically American Crafts THICKERS!) are my biggest supply addiction and you'll find them mixed and matched on every single one of my pages! I've been blessed to be a part of this amazing team since LM's conception and I hope to spend many years to come with this great group of women I am lucky enough to call friends.

Katy J., Indiana
Design Team Coordinator

Bio: My name is Katy, or Kate to those who know me best.  I have been married for 3 years, and have two cats that keep me busy enough for now. I have been scrapping for many years, and my passion for this hobby grows daily.  We love to travel, and that provides me with many great memories to scrapbook. Most often I scrap these vacations and our family events.  As hard as I might try to have a diversified style – the artist in me generally designs layouts with clean lines and a graphic arts feel.  Letter stickers will always be my most loved scrapbooking supply – as my designs reflect.

Franny Lesniak, Texas

Bio: Hi there! I’m Franny Lesniak. I live with my wonderful husband, two fabulous kiddos, and spastic puppy in a really cool old Victorian house in Pflugerville (a small town on the outskirts of Austin), Texas. My day isn’t complete unless I share many hugs with my kiddos and husband, have a healthy dose of laughter, and spend some creative time in my studio. Without a daily allotment of creative expression, chances are that I may very well implode!

I love being outdoors (unless it’s windy - the wind messes with my psyche, but maybe that‘s because I grew up in windy West Texas, and I do believe I‘ve had more than my fair share of wind) - a weekend of camping always refreshes and renews my energy for life. I’m drawn to and find inspiration in old things and funky things - together, they can result in quite an interesting combination! I also enjoy crafting a good story - and have been known to bring a smile or two to the faces of my friends who are forced to endure my occasional ramblings.

The community at Lifetime Moments holds a dear place in my heart. I’m so glad to be part of it.

Cecilie Malling , Denmark

Bio: My name is Cecilie, I am married going on 6 years now. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark where I am finishing up my degree in history at the University of Copenhagen. Since I do not have kids yet most of my pages revolve around life around 30 and the occasional “borrowed” kids.

I’ve been scrapping since March 2005 and I keep getting more and more involved with this fantastic hobby and the interesting, stimulating environment that is scrapbooking. As far as style of scrapbooking I do try and do different things at different times, but I do gravitate towards a distressed look, warm colors and complex patterns.

Melissa Thigpen, South Carolina

Bio:

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Growing up in New England I never thought I would end up working and living in the south. Nor did I expect to be a librarian, singer, scrap booker and the owner of not one but two pet snakes. Happily, I am a librarian working in a wonderful public library, a singer in a small but very good choir surrounded by wonderful, talented people, a scrap booker on the Lifetime Moments design team surrounded again by a group of wonderful and talented artists. Beyond that I am lucky enough to be married ten year to a loving husband, be the mother of a bright and funny eight year old boy and be the human companion to a menagerie of pets that includes several cats, a dog, fish, a turtle and, or course, the two aforementioned snakes.

ll of the above makes excellent fodder for my scrap booking activities. I discovered the hobby soon after my son was born thanks to the baby themed scrapbook I was given as a gift at the time. After that I discovered the magazines and web sites and was only too happy to jump right in. In all honestly, I scrapbook solely for my own enjoyment. I love experimenting with color, designs and various techniques to create my pages. That those pages are appreciated and valued by my family is a happy side benefit. I am also privileged as part of the LM design team to be able to share my enthusiasm for this hobby with an even larger group of people who also love photos, stories and designing great scrapbooks. A girl can’t get any luckier than that.

Nancy Thomas, Alabama

Bio: I reside in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama with my husband of 11 years. Between us Don and I have three adult children, four grandchildren and one very spoiled dog. I have been scrapping and stamping for approximately 4 years and love playing with paper, scissors and glue. I am very excited to be joining such a talented design team and can't wait to get started.

Meet our LM Style Newsletter Editor . . .

Sara Meyers, Arizona
Newsletter Editor

Bio: My name is Sara.  I have been married for almost 7 years. My husband is currently in the US Army, so we live the active military style and move around from time to time.  My husband and I have one son, Treyton (age 7) and one daughter, Madilyn (10 months).  I have been scrapbooking for ten years now.  (Well, I guess some could say I shop for scrapbook supplies more than I scrapbook!). I was introduced to the wonderful world of scrapbooking when a children's toy and book store that I worked at started having crop nights. I have been hooked ever since (much to my husband's dismay).

Most people know me as the Newsletter Editor here at Lifetime Moments!  I spend most of my time getting the newsletter all primped and prepared for its weekly Thursday publishing!  I have been a member of this community since day one and I love it.  I have also gotten the joy of working side by side with Jackie for several years now, I am more of the “behind the scenes” type of gal!

My albums are of a wide range variety. I try to dab a little into every scrapbook style that is out there. I prefer to do more simple layouts, but I am always up for that perfect challenge!

Scrapbooking, to me, lets me exhibit and explore my talents by making one of a kind pages and preserving memories to cherish forever. My family is and will remain a constant inspiration to all of my work! I hope that you enjoy my work as much as I do!
