Cowboy Door Hanger by Madeline Fox
- Adhere Flair Horsin’ Around patterned papers to the pressboard door hanger. Begin at the top and follow in this order: Favorite Jeans, Rawhide Floral, Red Bandit Stripe, and Happy Trails. Apply chalk, ink or metallic rub-ons to edges of the papers. After all papers are attached, sand edges of the hanger.
- Add red ric-rac border sticker to Favorite Jeans paper section of hanger.
- Cover chipboard circle or Bazzill chip with Red Bandit patterned paper. Sand edges of circle and sticker. Adhere sticker to circle and circle to hanger.
- Tie ribbons, fabric strips, and ric-rac with wire and secure to hanger. Embellish with large brad.
- Tie ribbon or fabric strip to Flair “Giddy Up” metal tag and adhere tag to burlap and burlap to hanger.
- Add letter stickers for name, etc.
- Use wire to make barbed wire and wrap around hanger, securing ends to the back. (Cut wire in one 8-inch section and several small ½ inch snippets. Wrap small pieces around longer piece every ½ inch or so and use Diamond Glaze or other clear liquid adhesive to hold in place.)
- Cover back of hanger with one of the left over patterned papers and you’re done!
