When my eyes first saw these jewelry cases by Creative Imaginations, my heart leapt for joy! I could NOT wait to get my hands on one of these to alter. Now, mind you, I made this one for myself – but that’s not going to last long… my little sister saw it as I was working on it and has virtually demanded that I make one for her, too! Lol!

To adhere the paper to the jewelry case, I first applied a layer of gel medium (Modge Podge would also work). I applied the paper to the sides and lid, and then I used a shower squeegee tool to run on top of the paper was flat with no air bubbles (tricky, huh? lol! ). I applied a final top coat of gel medium, and then let it all dry. I used ribbon glue to adhere the ribbon around the edge of the lid, and I also used a little extra adhesive (though the letter already had adhesive on the back) to the "F" to make sure that it was secure.

On the inside, I inked my stamps and sort of rolled them around the sides to get the whole image on there.

And there you have it - a fantastic gift, for another... or for yourself.
