Just like making yourself a sandwich, here's the layers for the photo frame:

1. Attach pattern paper to the front of the backing of the frame.
2. Attach the photograph to the pattern paper using the photo frame matting as a guide for photo placement.
3. Place the glass atop the photo and backing of the frame.
4. Cut strips of 1/4" foam core to attach to the glass to be hidden BEHIND the photo frame matting. **Make sure to cut a gap in the foam core large enough to accommodate the stem of the flower.
5. Place the flower in position and apply a generous amount of glue to securely hold the flower in place. Be careful not to apply too much to avoid the glue seeping beyond the matting.
6. Apply adhesive around the foam core and then attach the photo frame matting.
7. Leave the picture frame on a flat surface for at least 24 hours for the glue to dry.
8. Decorate the front of the matte.
