30 Days of Gifts - DAY 2:

Ribbon Photo Board

by Vickie Brown, LM Design Team

A fun and easy gift for children or adults alike is a ribbon board, used to display cards, keepsakes or photos. I made this ribbon board for my daughter using nothing more than corkboard, some scrap denim fabric, ribbon and the Bare Elements Tammy Pushpins and just a little bit of patterned paper.

After washing the denim, I used it to cover the corkboard. Next, secure the ribbon (I used staples on the back of the ribbon board and it's held up very well). Punch or cut circles and adhere them to the pushpins, then cover with the included epoxy and add them to the board. To hang, either add a hanger to the back of the board, or add ribbon and hang from the ribbon. In no time, you've made a gift that can hold lots of wonderful memories!
