Heritage & Winter Decor Triptychs

Heritage Triptych

Instructions:

  1. Paint frame and just on the inside of each panel of the triptych with one thin layer of Making Memories Acrylic paint in Espresso.
  2. Dry brush over the frame portion haphazardly with Making Memories Acrylic paint in Shopping Bag.
  3. Mix in a bit of Espresso into Making Memories Aquamarine to tone down the color and then randomly brush it on here and there to give it an antique look.
  4. Trim paper to fit triptych panels – stamp fleur de lis onto one of the pieces.
  5. Adhere patterned paper to the panels with Golden Gel Medium or Mod Podge.
  6. When dry, apply two more thin coats on the top of the paper to seal (allow to dry between coats).
  7. Attach vintage photos sized to fit within the panels.
  8. Attach decorative metal pieces.

Tie ribbon through punched holes on each side.

Winter Decor Triptych

This would really be a good idea to include with the gift of a candle.

Instructions: 

  1. Paint frame and just on the inside of each panel of the triptych with a coat of Making Memories Acrylic paint in < w:st="on">< w:st="on">Manila.
  2. Dry brush over the frame portion haphazardly with Making Memories Acrylic paint in Spotlight.
  3. Print quote onto patterned paper and trim to fit one of the triptych panels.Adhere patterned paper to the panels with Golden Gel Medium or Mod Podge.
  4. When dry, apply two more thin coats on the top of the paper to seal (allow to dry between coats).
  5. Attach snowflakes randomly.
  6. Insert crystal brads through punched holes on each side.
