Valentine Booklet
I made this Valentine booklet for an extra special person in my life. It’s an easy project for a last minute gift; it only took me an hour to create.
Products:
Ki Memories Wild Things Collection (Patterned paper, Hip Chip Shapes, Cookie Cutter Cardstock Stickers, Essentials Cardstock Stickers, Tattoos, Gel Candy Stickers, Sashes and Bobbins)
Heidi Swapp Chipboard Clock
Plain chipboard sheets
Instructions:
- Cut five pieces of chipboard, each in the same height but increasing width by .5 inches for each piece. My sizes are 3x3, 3x3.5, 3x4, 3x4.5 and 3x5. If you want to include photos on a project a great size to start with is 4x4. (Please note that Gin-X makes a Raw Staggered Book if you do not want to start from scratch).
- Cover each chipboard piece front and back with coordinated patterned paper. (Optional: I also painted all my edges with white acrylic paint before adhering paper).
- Round all corners using a corner rounder tool.
- Punch two holes on the left side of all pieces to form a book.
- Decorate pages using various chipboard shapes, cardstock stickers, etc.
- Insert ribbons through holes and tie loosely so it is easy to turn the pages.
